Welcome Home:

Say hello to Brand Hull, a shady lawyer who pretends to help the people, but actually helps big corporations continue to skirt the law, or more correctly break them all together. He doesn’t stop his debauchery behavior their, he chooses work over his kid and sends his assistant to his baseball games. To make up to his son for his assistant driving off making him think his dad cared more about a baseball going through his windshield than him hitting a home run he goes to pick him up from a haunted house, where Brand finds himself in Hell.

Sensei’s Oath

First reaction: Unholy Shit!!! This book was awesome! This is my favorite thing about the Aftershock company, because almost every title that I have read has been leaps and bounds better than most other books I am currently reading. Capes and Cowls be gone this is the revolution of comic books for adults and Phil Hester and Tony Harris knock this book out of the park. We have a giant douche bag as a main character who finds his way into Hell and has all his sins brought before him because of all the deals he’s made with these corporations to keep them out of hot water. He is the Son of the Father of lies because that’s all he knows to speak, but he didn’t just come to Hell, he has come home. Fan-fucking-tastic art coupled with this story, I cannot sing my praises enough. The only thing keeping this book from being perfect in my eyes is him getting to Hell… He goes to pick his son up from a haunted house, goes inside to get him and he enters Hell inside of the haunted house…
